This Crumble Dish is made of white glazed porcelain, has an irregular form and is handmade in France in traditional molds.

Designed by Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy in 1995, the Famished and Thirsty Collection has grown over the years. Made in porcelain, these pieces combine solidity and fineness. The plates and dishes are cast in a traditional method between two plaster molds. Each time they are cast, certain differences may appear, which are the expression of the unique character of each one of these hand-cast items. Their “imperfections” are the sign of their originality and are not considered as defects.

The porcelain has a special, slightly blue tint. It can be put in dishwashers and microwave ovens. Porcelain is extremely impact resistant, but if a chip occurs, you can soften it with sandpaper.

It's the use that really gets you attached to the famished crumble dishes: when you take the golden apples, the fragrant pie, the crackling roast chicken, surrounded by the trembling oval of a white porcelain line, out of the oven. And also, later, with a full belly and languid legs, when you drag the empty dish to the sink to soak it, knowing that the next day, a simple wipe will be enough to restore its original youthfulness.
